June 2006 Centre for Fine Art Animation and Design , Durban South Africa . Lecture on current industry trends in Motion Graphics and the curriculum at NYIT in the Motion Graphics Lab.

June 2006 Panel titled: “Animation, Digital Puppetry or Flash in the Pan?” part of the 27th Durban International Film Festival South Africa . Discussions of what is and what is not animation and the current state of the animation industry.

April 2006 Museum of Arts & Design NYC panel discussion made up of students, faculty, and administration from NYIT that created the 2005 5 th place winning Solar Decathlon project.

April 2006 BEA Broadcast Educators Association conference <poster> presentation on the 10 minute Solar Decathlon Multimedia documentary for the faculty Interactive Multimedia panel session. Demonstrated the interdisciplinary nature of our production. 

August 2003 Lectured on computer graphic techniques to the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale Florida . Topic: Advanced tracking techniques in combining 3D elements and live action video. Example shown was independent animation for Discovery Kids Channel. Other topics: current aesthetics issues in commercial television and how to produce animation as an independent animator.

April 2003 Lectured to the students and faculty at the Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville Jamaica during their first annual “I RAE” Inventors, Researchers and Entrepreneurs Conference sponsored by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The Nassau Space Agency was the only other US representative lecturing during this conference. I was interviewed on National Jamaican Radio and the Seventh Day Adventist cable network, which broadcasts throughout the world.

March 2002 Lectured to the Taiwan chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and the students and faculty of the Chinese Cultural University on computer graphic techniques. Topic: Breaking down a real-world animation project and esthetic issues. The seminar was attended by over 300 people including other universities from around Taipei .
